Construction of a new Research Center is progressing actively at Yessenov University.
As of today, the overall completion rate of the facility stands at 65%. All construction works are being carried out in accordance with the approved schedule. The reinforced concrete frame of the building has been fully completed, reaching 100% completion.
Currently, internal partitions are being installed and plastering works are underway on all levels, from the basement to the fourth floor. Porcelain tiles are being laid in the sanitary facilities.
The external engineering networks for electricity and heating have been fully installed, and an electric generator has been commissioned. The installation of curtain wall glazing structures on the first floor is also being carried out in stages.
The main value of the new center lies in its modern research infrastructure. The facility will house laboratories specializing in hydrogen technologies; water desalination and reuse; the study of reservoir fluids and complex processes involved in oil production; enhanced oil recovery; geological innovations; testing of construction and geotechnical materials; as well as research into ambient air quality and industrial emissions.
In addition, a dedicated center for the preparation of geological material samples is planned. “This facility will become an important platform for advancing the university’s research potential to a new level. It will provide young scientists with opportunities to conduct cutting-edge research and develop scientifically grounded solutions to specific regional challenges. Construction is progressing according to plan and remains on schedule. The opening of the Research Center is planned for November this year.
We are confident that the new center will become a modern research platform at Yessenov University, bringing together science, technology, and innovation, and will contribute to the scientific and technological development of the region and the country.”
