An Important Meeting within the Framework of International Scientific Cooperation

A scientific meeting was held at the Faculty of Engineering of Yessenov University with professors from Hamburg University (Germany), Dr. Sebastian Timmerberg and Mr. Dagmar Rokita.
During the meeting, the participants discussed research activities carried out within the framework of the mega-project BR24992964, entitled “Development of Integrated Energy-Saving Technologies to Improve the Efficiency and Environmental Sustainability of Marine Operations in the Kazakhstan Sector of the Caspian Sea.” The project aims to increase the energy efficiency of marine operations while reducing their environmental impact on the Caspian Sea.
The participants also discussed the possibility of submitting a joint research project on green hydrogen production and its environmental aspects to a grant funding competition, as well as opportunities for implementing international collaborative projects.
The meeting also provided an opportunity to exchange views on academic mobility for students and master’s students, dual-degree education programmes, as well as internships and research opportunities in Germany.
This meeting represents an important step towards strengthening international scientific cooperation and creating new opportunities for future joint research projects.
