As part of the mega-project “Development of Integrated Energy-Saving Technologies to Improve the Efficiency and Environmental Sustainability of Marine Operations in the Kazakhstan Sector of the Caspian Sea,” a reporting meeting was held to review the research activities planned and completed in 2025.
The meeting covered the following key areas:
development of integrated technological solutions aimed at improving the energy efficiency of marine operations;
development of energy consumption optimization models;
implementation of innovative approaches to ensure environmental sustainability;
improvement of research laboratory infrastructure;
development of startup initiatives and enhancement of their commercialization potential;
provision of laboratory equipment and systematization of technical support mechanisms.
The project aims to establish a comprehensive scientific foundation for improving the technological and environmental efficiency of marine operations carried out in the Kazakhstan sector of the Caspian Sea.
At the next stage, systematic measures will be implemented to expand research activities, test pilot technological solutions, and adapt them to industrial conditions.
The project outcomes are aimed at strengthening regional energy security, supporting the transition to green energy, and promoting the principles of sustainable development.
